For a little while, the other half had an avian friend...turns out they can be QUITE DEMANDING if you don't feed them when they want to be fed.

Laura: i am. i shoot. i try to keep those around me as happy as possible without neglecting myself. i avoid being personally involved in drama, but i love sitting on the sidelines and watching. biotechnology interests me. i have delusions of grandeur regarding what i think i can do...generally i fall short of those aspirations. i am owned by two very SPECIAL cats: one who thinks she cannot live without me, and one who talks to me/himself/the wall/the air. he takes after me in the clumsiness department. i also have a wonderful partner who keeps me motivated, sane, and grounded, while supporting my interests to the best of his ability. he's also a damned good cook.
